It was a really dramatic way that I encountered one of my best teacher from 20 years ago during the Taipei Art Fair. She had influenced me tremendously, and I was being a little bit emotional when I was talking to her. I put my appreciation on one of my work and I wished she could see it some day, and now this wish came true!!!

When I was a kid In my town in Taiwan, near the Taichung train station, there were many many pet shops around that district. I really do not think that they should be called pet shop, because I remember I saw plenty rare and crazy animals there, they had hawks and civets those shits, but the thing impressed me the most were the Taiwan giant fruits bat. They put few of them in a cage and hanged it at the front of the store, I could stare at those creatures for hours. They are the size of a rabbit and they fly, I still don't know that do people really want those ugly things as a pet or they wanted for food..I miss how that island was in the 80s..

I need a bigger scanner, never had enough money to buy one. Every time I was about to get it and there is always some shits happened. I wish there is a socialism system for artists, I don't care the government takes all the profit from the sales, as long as they provide me every thing I need and I will keep making images and keep my mouth shut.
